Özet
Toplumsal değişme, toplumların hayatında hızlı ya da yavaş yavaş gerçekleşen, devamlılık gösteren ve bir durumdan başka bir duruma geçişi ifade eden bir kavramdır. Aile ise bu yapının en küçük canlı birimi olarak hem bu değişmelerden etkilenir hem de bu değişmeleri şekillendirir. Türkiye’deki toplumsal değişimlerin ailede yarattığı sancılar, romancılarımızın her zaman ilgi duyduğu bir mevzu olagelmiştir. Bu mevzuya dikkatle odaklanan isimlerden biri "toplumsal değişmenin romancısı" olarak tanınan Orhan Kemal’dir.Bu çalışmada Orhan Kemal’in "Eskici Dükkânı" adlı eseri "toplumsal değişme ve aile" açısından incelenecektir. Eserde siyasal, ekonomik ve teknolojik değişimlerin hızlı olduğu ve sancılı bir toplumsal değişim sürecini zaruri kıldığı 1950’li yılların Türkiyesi’nde, zanaatkâr bir ailenin neler yaşadığı, nasıl çetin bir süreçten geçtiği takip edilecek, bunun nedenleri üzerinde durulacaktır. Yazar, toplumsal değişme süreçlerinin aile üzerindeki etkilerini nasıl yorumlamıştır? Hangi yönlerini özellikle öne çıkarmıştır? Söz konusu aile, yeni iktisadî anlayışla gelişen üretim-tüketim ilişkilerine neden uyum sağlayamamıştır? Bu uyumsuzluğun kefareti ne olmuştur? Ailenin günden güne çöküşüne ivme kazandıran unsurlar neler olmuştur? Geleneksel değerler-modern değerler farkı aile fertleri arasındaki ilişkileri nasıl şekillendirmiştir? Bu sorulara cevaplar aranırken, bütün bunlarla yazarın okuyucusuna nasıl bir mesaj vermek istediği de ortaya konmaya çalışılacaktır.
Social change is a concept that takes place in the life of societies quickly or slowly, shows continuity and expresses the transition from one state to another. The family, on the other hand, is affected by these changes and shapes these changes as the smallest living unit of this structure. The throes is created in the family, by social changes in Turkey, a subject that has always been interested in our novelist of all time. One of the names that carefully focus on this issue is Orhan Kemal, who is known as the "novelist of social change".In this study, Orhan Kemal's work named "Eskici Dükkânı" will be evaluated in terms of "social change and family". In the novel, political, economic and technological change is rapid and painful process that makes it indispensable to social change in Turkey during the 1950s, what a family of artisans live and how they go through a difficult process will be followed, the reasons for this will be emphasized. How the author interpreted the effects of social change processes on the family? What aspects did he particularly emphasize? Why did this family in question fail to adapt to the relations between production and consumption developing with a new economic understanding? What was the penance of this mismatch? What were the factors that accelerated the family's collapse from day to day? How did the traditional values versus modern values shape the relationships among family members? While looking for answers to all these questions, it will be tried to reveal how the author wanted to give a message to his reader.
