Özet
Yazılışları ve söylenişleri aynı, anlamları ve kökenleri farklı olan sözcükler eş adlıdır. Türkçede eş adlı teriminde kavram kargaşası söz konusudur. Eş adlılık; eş seslilik/sesteş, eş yazımlılık, eş gösterenlik, eş biçimlilik kavramlarıyla da karşılanmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Türk Dil Kurumu Türkçe Sözlük’te Romen rakamlarıyla ayrı madde başlarında tanımlanan eş adlı sözcüklerin tamamı genel tarama modeliyle tespit edilmiş, 641 eş adlı sözcük fişlenmiştir. Eş adlı sözcüklerin oluşum yolları belirlenmiş ve oluşum yollarına göre çeşitli tasnifler oluşturulmuştur. Türkçe Sözlük’teki eş adlı sözcüklerin bir kısmının tarih boyunca eş adlı olduğu, diğer eş adlıların ise farklı nedenlerle eş adlı duruma geldiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Türkçe Sözlük’te eş adlılığın ortaya çıkma nedenleri alıntı sözcükler, ses, biçim ve anlam değişiklikleri ile söz varlığından kaynaklı olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu ana nedenlerin çeşitli alt başlıkları oluşturulmuş ve elde edilen eş adlı sözcüklerin tamamı, ilgili başlıklara yerleştirilmiştir. Eş adlı sözcüklerin 366’sının alıntı sözcüklerden kaynaklandığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu durumda Türkçe Sözük’teki eş adlıların yarısından fazlasını Arapça, Farsça, Fransızca, Rumca gibi çeşitli dillerden alıntılanmış sözcükler oluşturmaktadır. Eş adlı sözcüklerden bazıları ses ve biçim değişiklikleri sonucu oluşmuştur. Bir kısım eş adlılar ise çok anlamlılık, anlam genişlemesi vb. anlam olaylarıyla ortaya çıkmıştır. Asıl eş adlı yani tarihsel eş adlı 28 sözcük saptanmıştır.
Homonym one of two or more words that have the same sound and often the same spelling but differ in meaning. There is a confusion of concepts in the term "homonym" in Turkish. In Turkish, homonym is also known as homophony, and etc. In this context, the Turkish dictionary contains homonyms defined in Roman numerals at the beginning of the separate lexical entry. In this study, all of the words with homonyms were determined by the general scanning model, and 641 words with homonyms were recorded. The formation ways of the homonyms have been determined, and various classifications have been created according to the formation ways. It has been revealed that some of the words named homonym in the Turkish dictionary have been named homonym throughout history, while other words have become homonym for different reasons. The reasons for the occurrence of homonym in the Turkish dictionary are borrowed words; phonetic, morphology and semantic changes and vocabulary. Various subtitles of these main reasons have been created, and the words with homonyms are placed in the relevant headings. It has been determined that more than half of the homonyms are derived from the borrowed words. Languages that cause co-naming originate from various languages such as Arabic, Persian, French, and Greek. Some homonyms have emerged with meaning events such as polysemy and meaning expansion. Some of the homonyms are formed as a result of phonetic and morphological changes. 28 words named original homonym, that is historical homonym, were determined.
